Lori Milam brings over 36 years of experience, knowledge, and dedication to her role as a Real Estate Processor at McCarthy & Akers. Her career spans multiple facets of the industry, including 18 years in banking, seven years as a real estate settlement processor, and 11 years in leasing and property management. Lori’s educational background, which includes a Banking Certificate earned through business banking courses at Lord Fairfax Community College, complements her work.
Throughout her career, Lori has earned recognition such as the Best Team Player Award during her tenure at First Federal Savings and Loan, BB&T’s Certificate of Excellence, and the Olympian Award for exceptional client service. She thrives on challenges and takes pride in building meaningful relationships with clients and fostering a collaborative environment with her teammates.
Originally from Winchester, Virginia, Lori participates in church-based activities including small group Bible classes and the Women’s Flourish program. She also volunteers her time to serve her local church community.
Lori is an avid lover of bluegrass concerts, enjoys gardening, and finds joy in watching hummingbirds. Above all, she values studying the Bible as a source of inspiration and personal growth.
