About Anna Freska
Anna M. Freska was the Founding Partner of Dominion Law Group LLP, a boutique Estate Planning law firm in Great Falls, Virginia. After 36 years of practicing law, having worked in Europe, Asia and the United States Anna closed her law practice in June of 2026, and she joined McCarthy & Akers as Of Counsel.
Anna specializes in wealth preservation via estate planning and is active in advising numerous foundations and non-profit initiatives. Anna who was born in Warsaw, Poland and became a naturalized US citizen, began her law career with the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie, served as Deputy General Counsel for a major telecommunications firm, was a network attorney for United Bank of Switzerland (UBS), and was legal counsel to the tennis legend, Andre Agassi, and his company Agassi Enterprises, Inc.
Anna has taught at Santa Clara University School of Law programs in Europe. Before practicing law, Anna was a teacher in Japan, China, England and Switzerland. Anna moved to Northern Virginia in 2002 and quickly became part of the professional community where she served on the Board of Directors of Northwest Capital Management, McLean Estate Planning Council, and Chelsea Academy in Front Royal, Virginia. Anna currently serves on the Board of Directors of Legatus, an international organization of Catholic CEOs.

Anna earned her BA from Amherst College, in Amherst, Massachusetts, an M.A. from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, in California. She also studied European and International Law at Tübingen University in Germany, at Henry Dunant Institute in Geneva, Switzerland, and at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France. She has been a member of the American Bar Association, and is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, District of Columbia, and the State of California. Anna received the 2025 Influential Women of Law Award by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
