Joshua Petersen

Joshua Petersen brings over two decades of industry experience as Director of Finance at McCarthy & Akers. He leads a team of high-achieving and driven professionals who operate the firm with excellence and deliver superior results for clients. With a background in investments and operations, he oversees initiatives that foster innovation, integrity, and exceptional client service.

Joshua earned his BA in Philosophy from Christendom College. Originally from Golden, Colorado, he is committed to hard work and community engagement.

Outside work, Joshua’s world revolves around his wife and two young sons. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he has spent the last 13 years coaching volleyball at the high school, club, and college levels, often volunteering to guide and inspire young athletes.
