Matteo Stocco

Matteo Paolo Stocco serves as the Chief Operating Officer at McCarthy & Akers. He guides clients through the Estate Planning process, working closely with them to develop thoughtful, effective Estate Plans that provide clarity today and fulfill their wishes for future generations.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate and valedictorian of Christendom College, Matteo possesses a sharp analytical mind and a commitment to excellence. His academic achievements and multilingual abilities in English, Italian, and limited Spanish enable him to connect with diverse clients and offer personalized solutions that reflect their unique needs.

Matteo’s role involves more than just structuring Estate Plans. He organizes and manages hundreds of files, extrapolates valuable data, and implements growth strategies for the firm. However, he finds the human aspect of his work most fulfilling. He feels passionate about helping individuals and families feel secure, cared for, and at peace as they preserve their legacy and protect their loved ones.

Originally from Winchester, Virginia, Matteo volunteers as a dance instructor, calling dances and teaching these skills at local parishes and schools.

Outside the office, he enjoys reading, playing piano, and staying active on the soccer field. He is also a proud member of the Chester-Belloc Alumni Association.
